Autumn Melody Thomas
Two police officers were injured Thursday when they attempted to arrest Autumn Thomas after she fled a domestic incident at Union Hill Apartments and drove off before Sgt. David Asbell and Officer McCune could arrive to arrest her.
She does not deny being late and absent, receiving several disciplinary reports for unsatisfactory work performance and being moved onto an eight hour shift with lighter care residents.
Early Life and Education
Autumn was raised on a farm near Lake Preston, South Dakota alongside her three siblings – two sons, one daughter, her parents Dale and Herbert instilled strong family values that remain ingrained within her today.
Autumn graduated to great acclaim with a music performance degree, booking non-stop production shows and residencies as a pianist/vocalist in some of the world’s most luxurious hotels, resorts and piano bars. She completed her masters degree at University College London; an institution consistently rated amongst the top ten universities globally.
Autumn now combines her musical talents with humanitarian activism; performing for high profile corporate events & human rights organizations around the globe. She serves as lead vocalist of Liquid Blue; an international corporate entertainment band which has performed at events including an NFL All-Stars Marshal Faulk fundraiser performance, opening for ZZ Top and entertaining Oracle CEO Larry Ellison (the fifth richest person). Autumn’s versatility as both pianist/vocalist makes her an excellent choice for any special event!
Autumn Thomas currently works for Citi, a global bank with over 200 million customer accounts in 160+ countries and jurisdictions, serving customers across six continents. As Product Manager in Banking Technology, she holds various leadership roles with the Professional Franchise Marketing Association (PFMA), such as COO of MEMO Financial Services – its alternative financing affiliate; President of PCRS (the retail coupon clearinghouse of PFMA); Executive Director for Scanning Certification Program and President of Responsible Tobacco Sale Certification Program as well as serving on their Senior Management Team and Board of Directors as well as being part of National Institute of Standards and Technology Coupon Advisory Panel and Responsible Retailing Forum memberships.
Achievement and Honors
Autumn graduated cum laude with a music performance degree and immediately began booking shows as a pianist vocalist at top hotels/resorts/venues across Europe and America, including Ritz, Montage Beverly Hills, Island Hotel Newport Beach and Mastros Ocean Club; she also volunteered her daytimes at a refugee centre nearby.
She boasts an extensive repertoire that ranges from piano bar classics, top 40’s hits, and the latest up and coming pop songs – including aerial acrobat performances on European cabaret and circus circuits with her unique piano-vocal act; in addition, she has recorded session vocals for Grammy nominated LA producers as well as network television shows.
Autumn Melody Thomas is an interdisciplinary artist and writer dedicated to human rights. Her artwork features analogous brown bodies as subversive forms of resistance against prejudice through visual literacy and perception.
After touring internationally with Broadway entertainment company McCoy Rigby Entertainment, Autumn returned to Southern California and continued her career as a pianist/vocalist at some of the country’s finest hotels and resorts such as Monarch Beach Resort Laguna Beach, Terrenea Luxury Resort, Island Hotel Newport Beach Seasons 52 Club Mastros Oceanclub.
Autumn not only booked piano bar gigs but also secured guest entertainer and headliner show contracts with five-star cruise lines, Las Vegas showrooms and Harrah’s/Caesars casinos worldwide as a regular guest entertainer/headliner show contract performer/guest entertainer; she began booking session vocal work with well-known LA producers and up and coming artists alike.
Autumn, a single girl living in California and focused primarily on her dance career, earns a decent sum from dancing lessons as well as appearing in TV shows.
Ms. De La Torre has performed on national and international tours with top production companies in both the US and UK, as well as headlining five-star cruise lines and casinos.
She has an older brother named Harbor and her mom serves as her manager. Autumn plans on devoting herself solely to dance for now; as her parents are well-off and she possesses vast potential in dance – both qualities make Autumn one of many talented upcoming talents that provide hope for many young people. She stands as an inspiration.
