Pop singer Avril Lavigne is engaged to Mod Sun, real name Derek Smith, after proposing to her in Paris. The couple began dating just over a year ago. The singer met the couple while she was recording Love Sux, her new album. She has been married to Sum 41’s Deryck Wibley and Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger before, and has also dated Bella Thorne.

Mod Sun and Avril Lavigne met while working together on “Love Sux”. The couple plans to live together for the rest of their lives. They plan to travel together this spring/summer.
