Early Life and Education

Barros was born and educated at Xaverian Brothers High School in Westwood, Massachusetts. There, he became a four-year starter on their basketball team averaging 30 points per game as a senior; consequently being honored with induction into their Hall of Fame.

As soon as he graduated college, he was drafted by the Seattle SuperSonics, before soon switching teams and playing more often for Philadelphia 76ers, where he averaged more than 13 points per game while serving as backup point guard to Allen Iverson.

Barros was honored with an induction into Xaverian Brothers High School’s Hall of Fame after scoring 1,821 points during four seasons as a four-year starter, before 3-point shots were introduced into play. He was also named Catholic Conference MVP.

Barros was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers during 1993-94 and averaged 31 minutes of playing time per game while helping improve their defensive stats. He briefly joined Atlanta Hawks during 1997-98 season.

Daniel Barros earned a law degree from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at William & Mary and currently practices law in New Jersey where he represents clients regarding Business Litigation issues. Additionally, Daniel is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association.

Personal Life
