Daniel Ferrante works at JFK Airport. A member of its community, he supports organizations dedicated to cancer research as well as youth theater.
He excels at cross country and track and field competition, garnering many achievements – including All-Region honors.
Early Life and Education
He is also the founding member and Executive Director of Sandbox Theatre in Mamaroneck, NY, believing youth theater to be an effective way to teach young people important life-skills and habits that will benefit them for years to come.
He boasts numerous performances and directing credits, teaching children from his community how to perform and direct plays. He possesses an inexhaustible love for all aspects of arts.
Filomena and Pasquale immigrated to the US from Italy in (YEAR). Vito was an energetic youth who preferred soccer over academics; eventually going on to medical school and meeting Mirella at a party where they exchanged name tags to sit together.
Daniel Ferrante is an entrepreneur and investor who has founded multiple businesses. As a partner and relationship manager at Lenox Advisors, Daniel serves both individual and corporate clients of Lenox Advisors with various issues they encounter.
He is also deeply engaged in theatre, amassing many performing, directing, and musical directing credits at numerous regional theaters. He believes youth theater provides children with invaluable skills and habits they’ll need for lifelong success.
Dr. Ferrante is licensed by the state of New Jersey to practice Obstetrics & Gynecology and holds affiliations at Morristown Medical Center and Saint Clare’s Denville Hospital, accepting multiple insurance plans while being board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology with one office located in Morristown, NJ.
Achievement and Honors
Ferrante has been an integral part of Villanova football for 27 seasons and helped transform their offensive line into one of the premier units in CAA football. He coached three All-Americans and eleven All-East performers during this time – two former students Ben Ijalana and Brad Seaton have since gone on to play professionally in NFL.
Ferrante’s devotion to student-athlete development has been recognized far beyond Villanova. He was named AFCA FCS Assistant Coach of the Year in 2021.
Ferrante has long been an advocate of youth theater. He believes participating in theater can help young people build valuable skills and habits for life while giving them an outlet to express themselves through music and drama.
Ferrante values his time spent with family. An avid runner, he has competed both cross country and track and field events at university levels. Furthermore, he is an active writer – writing several plays and his opera Jefferson and Poe had its world premiere at Symphony Space in New York in 2005 where Geoffrey Himes of Baltimore City Paper said its music “has the elegance of traditional opera as vocal lines climb melodic staircases”.
He is married and has one daughter named Haley. Additionally, he is an accomplished pianist who can cover any musical genre. Additionally, he’s active within his community by teaching youth theater. He believes this work helps children develop as individuals while also better equipping them for life outside the school environment.
