Daniel Holman was born and raised in Mason City, Iowa. During his 20s he began working in his family radiator business before later moving on to Kato Radiator of Mankato Minnesota as its managing partner.

In 2005, he became Superior Delegate for three North American Provinces of SVD and worked closely with missionaries leaving abroad or returning home on home leave – providing assistance with setting up doctor’s appointments, paying medical bills and performing other essential tasks.

Born and raised in the Midwest, he studied at Fostoria Minor Seminary before going on to Divine Word College in Epworth Iowa for his First Vows preparation. From there, he embarked on an 8 year missionary program in Africa before returning home.

Holman has accomplished virtually everything possible during his decade-long professional career. He won a championship, was selected as an All-Star and scored the most goals ever scored by any league player.

After joining the Divine Word Missionary Brothers, he put his creativity to use at Techny in graphic design, publications, websites and video productions that raise funds for SVD missions in North America and overseas. Additionally, he serves as teacher and formator; though his skills could have made him successful as an artist or graphic designer elsewhere he chose instead to serve His people in Christ Jesus.

Holman began his career at various local youth clubs such as Northampton ON Chenecks, Long Buckby and Moulton Magpies before eventually making an impressionful first team debut for Cogenhoe United’s United Counties League Premier Division side Cogenhoe United before having two stints with Long Buckby before signing with Conference North side Histon in 2011.

Holman joined Conference Premier side Braintree Town in 2012 and quickly established himself as one of their key threats. His prolific goalscoring ability caught the attention of Football League teams; on loan he went on to play with Colchester United, Wrexham and Aldershot Town respectively.
