Early Life and Education

Daniel Raff is an associate professor of anthropology at the University of Kansas. Her area of specialization includes research in anthropological genetics relating to indigenous populations throughout North America’s prehistory. Additionally, she lectures and conducts public speeches about science literacy issues; additionally, she was featured on FXX’s Major Lazer as Double Cup: the Codeine Scientist.

Professional Career

Raff is an associate professor at the Wharton School and specializes in business history, having held fellowships at Harvard and Oxford Universities. Raff also performs music, having released four studio albums – Cranberry Vampire (2014 release) featuring guest performances by Simon Rex, Andy Milonakis, Chief Keef and more; Raff was featured as a musical guest on Vans Warped Tour 2015 where We Came As Romans bassist Andy Glass served as his touring bassist.

Achievement and Honors

Daniel Raff was honored with the 2016 Canadian Medical Hall of Fame Award, given annually to medical students graduating from their second year who have demonstrated community involvement, excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as academic excellence with an established interest in furthering knowledge.

He rose to further fame through his films, such as Riff-Raff (1991) which depicts the travails of a London construction crew and Raining Stones (1993), which won the jury prize at Cannes. Additionally, he is the author of multiple books and articles published in academic journals.

Personal Life

Lesley has long resided in Petaluma and graduated from Cinnabar Elementary School. Since attending Empire College Law School she has held various administrative and supportive roles within the legal field before joining Raff Law, APC in 2021. Lesley enjoys treasure hunting at thrift stores and vinyl record shops, music listening sessions at live venues and stargazing – plus spending time outdoors and with family – so strong communication between clients and her is crucial for building strong relationships.

He is best known for his socialist ideals and socially critical directing style, evidenced in films like Poor Cow (1967) or Homelessness (Cathy Come Home 1966) or Labor Rights (Riff-Raff 1991). Two of his films won Cannes’ top award – Palme d’Or (2006) and I Daniel Blake (2016) respectively. Additionally a record three won Jury Prize awards.

Riff Raff (real name Horst Christian Simco) has built his fortune through music over time. Initially he started out recording himself rapping over popular artist tracks and burning them onto CDs to sell at mall locations around Houston.

He is most famously recognized for his appearances on MTV reality show G’s to Gents and as part of Three Loco, and has released multiple albums including Neon Icon, Peach Panther, and Vanilla Gorilla.

He has worked with various record labels and production companies, such as Swishahouse co-founder OG Ron C and Mad Decent (founded by DJ/producer Diplo until 2015) before recently joining Beartrap Sound ( founded by singer Blackbear).
