At Harding University, he earned two-time All-American football honors before receiving a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology. Over his career he compiled 237 tackles, 34.0 TFL, 17.5 sacks and seven interceptions – not to mention being part of cross-country, outdoor track and indoor track teams as well.
Daniels was elected to the State Senate for District 29 — Washington, Nowata and northern Rogers Counties – in 2016. She serves on the Rules, Education and Finance committees.
Daniels is active in public outreach activities, instructing school and youth groups about waterfowl conservation. Additionally, she has coordinated local wood duck nesting habitat efforts. Daniels lives with her husband Charlie in Bartlesville and attends First Church; together they have two sons and Julie is a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma and Leadership Bartlesville.
