Early Life and Education

Daniel spent summer and winter breaks during college working for Academy Roofing as an installer. Following graduation, he joined their estimating team and eventually project managed the new construction and replacement projects of commercial and industrial clients for both new construction and replacement roofing. Daniel is highly knowledgeable when it comes to spray polyurethane foam roof systems, metal tapered insulation systems and single-ply roofing systems as well as being certified as an applicator by Mule-Hide for Mule-Hide professional coatings and asphalt shingle systems.

Daniels takes over as president of the NRCA at a time when roofing industry players are still reeling from COVID-19 pandemic effects and labor and material shortages, but remains hopeful about its future despite these challenges. Daniels believes roofing has proven its resilience over time by finding innovative ways to get work done.

Personal Life

His passions lie with youth ministry and mission work at Bethel Worship Center in Marion, Indiana as well as spending time with his Dominican wife and their two children. Additionally, he is an avid car enthusiast owning a 2014 Shelby GT500.

Daniels began her Atlas Roofing career as a Territory Sales Representative in Tennessee in 2006. Since then, she has established a thriving sales region for herself – earning internal recognition such as Region of the Year Award in 2017!

She will now oversee the strategic national direction of the Shingles and Underlayments business, overseeing product development, SKU rationalization and accessory product growth – among other duties – while reporting directly to Vice President Darren Skaggs of Shingles and Underlayments Division.

Professional Career

Daniel has been working in the roofing industry since 2005, with an emphasis on installing single and multi-ply roofing systems as well as roof coatings. His dedication to customer satisfaction ensures a superior experience throughout each project; including spray polyurethane foam roofing and flat roof coatings.

Mule-Hide certified him in commercial application of professional roof coatings such as silicone, acrylic and elastomeric coatings for roof applications. A member of National Roofing Contractors Association as well as active member in local trade organizations.

Daniels Roofing provides both residential and commercial services, such as roof installations, repairs and replacements; brick sealing/chimney caps replacement/installation; seamless gutters; aluminum roof coating waterproofing services; masonry services; roof cleaning/maintenance contracts and driveway coatings.

Achievement and Honors

Daniels Roofing stands out as one of the few spray polyurethane foam (SPF) Cool Roof Contractors in North State. Certified by Mule-Hide Corporation to apply Premium Roof Membranes and Coatings commercially, Daniels was awarded by Home Builder Executive the Hanley Wood LLC Brand Builder Award; additionally Chamberlin won Engineering News-Record TX&LA Best Project Merit Award for waterproofing work on Rolex Building.

He is an excellent team player who always welcomes new experiences. Bailey MK values his contribution as an apprentice roofer he worked hard and dedicated himself to his apprenticeship training – becoming fully qualified slate and tile roofer with an NVQ/SVQ diploma in 2018.

She will oversee product development, SKU rationalization and accessory growth as well as lead a cross-department committee dedicated to professional contractor and loyalty program initiatives. She will be supported by an exceptional regional sales team led by Darren Skaggs and Kevin Wilkie – two individuals who have earned multiple internal awards for sales performance – who together make up the Shingles and Underlayments Division team. Her move into that Division takes effect immediately.
