Early Life and Education
David Eatherly was a former Special Forces officer who brought shame and disgrace upon himself and his family when convicted of an unsolved crime in 1987. He admitted to rape, battery, assault and attempted murder against Tammy Crowe but continued to deny any wrongdoing.
He was sentenced to prison for two life sentences and an additional 20 years of incarceration. Upon his release from prison, he returned home to Bowling Green, Kentucky.
He served as public relations manager at the Silverman Group, one of Chicago’s premier performing arts firms. His clients included Joffrey Ballet and several contemporary dance troupes; additionally, he wrote articles about dance for The Windy City Times. Furthermore, he served as vice president of the firm throughout his professional career which helped establish it as a leader in performing arts marketing.
Achievements and Honors
David Eatherly not only won the college football long snapper of the year award, but he’s an active member in Bullitt County community as well. A proud alumnus of Texas Tech University, he’s no stranger to either football or his alma mater; his contributions have been recognized by both his alma mater and in-state rival Texas Tech University. Additionally, David earned a spot on American Athletic Conference All-Conference team recognition.
Aside from his remarkable academic successes, Mr. White’s true legacy lies within his family. This includes his wife of 64 years Dana Carpenter White, daughters Connie (Mike) Eatherly and Jeffrey Lee White, nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren – all of whom make him incredibly contented. And to top it off he loves camping most days!
