David was born in London to a wealthy man who had founded the Tannoy Group of Companies. His family resided at Tudor Lodge, an expansive house on College Road.

His early years were quiet and secure. He attended Dulwich College Preparatory School and Dulwich College for schooling.

In his teenage years, he enjoyed sports. He was an accomplished boxer and squash player.

He had a keen interest in music and played the harp. Furthermore, he participated in Wilderness Leadership trips.

God was working in his life to prepare him for kingship of Israel. He had an acute understanding of sin and its effects on spiritual life. Through faith in Christ, he found forgiveness and peace with God – knowing that his sins had been forgiven.

David has been a Certified Financial Planner (CFP(r)) and investment manager for almost 30 years. To become a CFP professional, one must pass the comprehensive CFP Certification Examination, meet the CFP Board’s Fitness Standards, adhere to its Code of Ethics, Standards of Conduct which puts clients’ interests first, and comply with other relevant laws and regulations as determined by the board.

Since 2012, his firm has been helping people and families realize their aspirations across Forsyth County, Northern Georgia, the Greater Metro Atlanta area and Florida. Voted the Best Financial Planner in Forsyth County seven times over, they also received recognition as Five Star Wealth Planners since 2018.

He is actively involved in his community, having held leadership positions at the Rotary Club, Leadership Forsyth, Jesse’s House, Abba House, Mentor Me and Meals by Grace.

He published several books, including a biography of Isaac Watts – the celebrated hymn-writer from Southampton – as well as one on Poole Connor, founder of the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches, and an account of the Mayflower Pilgrims.
