As Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel, David Glogoff ensures customer loyalty and data security remain Catalina Marketing’s top priorities. His legal expertise is coupled with business acumen to manage risk while supporting the company’s global growth strategy.

Prior to joining Catalina Marketing, he served as General Counsel for Aimia Inc., a leader in loyalty technology and management. Additionally, he was an associate at Smith, Stratton, Wise, Heher & Brennan in Princeton, New Jersey and Flood, Johnston & McShane in New York City.

Early Life and Education

Glogoff, as he is affectionately known to his colleagues, holds a law degree from Tulane University and an impressive resume in legal and business management, from senior executive positions at Fortune 500 companies to being U.S. general counsel at Aimia in Minneapolis. Most recently as Chief Operating Officer for Vertis Communications Group, he has proven his skill at multitasking multiple tasks at once; leading initiatives like their recent spinoff launch while being recognized by EY Family of Companies membership – the top tier within their group – for his accomplishments in these fields.

Professional Career

David Glogoff has been a senior executive at Catalina since July 2017. A seasoned legal and business professional, he oversees the company’s People & Culture Group as well as Global Security & Privacy Group.

Catalina, as a leading provider of consumer data, has been an instrumental force in the implementation and observance of the European Union’s GDPR. Passed last May, this law requires companies to take great measures to protect personal information from unauthorized use or disclosure.

Before joining Catalina, Glogoff served as general counsel and corporate associate at Vertis Communications – an advertising and marketing production firm. Additionally, he held a litigation associate position at Flood, Johnston & McShane. Glogoff earned his law degree from Tulane University in 1994 and currently resides in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Glogoff has been a top executive at Vertis Communications since its reorganizations and bankruptcy sale in February 2009. He held various positions, such as vice president and deputy general counsel, leading Vertis’ People & Culture Group and Global Security & Privacy Group, while also navigating data privacy regulations like the European Union’s GDPR. David Glogoff is a member of Catalina’s executive team and brings legal and business acumen to bear on its global growth strategy. He oversees Catalina’s People & Culture group, which has 34 employees worldwide and is responsible for human resources and employee benefits; Global Security & Privacy group with 14 professionals located across four countries; Legal and Administrative departments of the Company as well. Prior to joining Catalina, he served as U.S. general counsel at Minneapolis-based Aimia Proprietary Loyalty US Inc., leading M&A activity and complex commercial agreements for loyalty programs. He earned his law degree from Tulane University School of Law and attended Hobart College. When not at work, he enjoys traveling and reading; he currently resides in Pennington with his wife and three children.
