David Toys has a distinguished professional career that includes acting in numerous films and television series. Additionally, he designed products for brands like Hasbro, Spin Master and Mattel in the toy industry.

He is an accomplished actor who has achieved several roles and gained respect within the entertainment industry. His credits include Little Britain, Skins, and The Life of Rock with Brian Pern.

He graduated with a degree in psychology from the University of Bristol and also trained to be a school teacher. However, he left teaching in 1977 to pursue acting full time – appearing on many successful television series and films, including L.A. Law (1986). Tragically, he died by suicide in 1990.

Achievement and Honors

David Denogean was a beloved high school teacher and track coach who had an immense heart of gold. Nearly one month after his passing, his family has decided to honor their mate by giving back to the community he helped shape – an apt tribute to David’s philanthropic spirit. David holds many distinctions; among them being a member of both the National Academy of Science and Mathematics (NASM) for 30 years, as well as being part of International Society for Optical Technology and Design (ISOTD) for over 20 years.

One of the greatest pleasures of being part of both ISOTD and ISMD is contributing to scientific and technological progress within our respective fields, while creating lifelong friendships. For David especially, being involved with both organizations has been a source of immense joy and excitement since day one.

Personal Life

David toys has an upbeat outlook and loves spending time with his family. He and his Proverbs 31 wife have four wonderful children.

David, himself a cancer survivor, founded “David’s Toy Project” to bring smiles to kids with cancer. He started by collecting coins in a jar and has since grown to raise over $20,000 this year alone.
