Best Dressed Hot Dog Contest

Among the various events at the WV Hot Dog Festival in Huntington is the Best Dressed Hot Dog Contest. This competition will be held prior to the running of the Wieners.

The Best Dressed Hot Dog Contest is sponsored by the Germantown Animal Shelter. The event will be held at the Ritz Theatre, located at 263 W. Central Avenue, Downtown Winter Haven.

The Best Dressed Hot Dog has many facets. It is a competition where owners show off their dogs’ creativity with a themed costume. There will also be live bluegrass music, a dog yoga session, and pet tricks.

The Best Dressed Hot Dog is not a race, but it is a fun competition for human and dog alike. Dogs get to strut their stuff on a leash as they compete against other canine competitors.
