Gavin MacLeod and His Wife Jessica Hische

Gavin MacLeod was an American actor. He is most famous for playing news writer Murray Slaughter on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and as ship captain Merrill Stubber on ABC’s The Love Boat. MacLeod was raised Catholic, but he converted to Christianity later in life. He is now married with Jessica Hische, a Christian actress.

Gavin MacLeod was a cousin to actor Ron MacLeod, and encouraged him into local theater. The two recently reunited and are a part of the Coachella Valley Rep. MacLeod’s Walk of Stars honor was sponsored by TV producer Peter Sealey. The couple now live near the famous singer Nancy Sinatra.
