On Thursday, January 17th from 6-8 pm in Morris Funeral Home on 45 North Main Street in Ipswich; there will also be a visitation period on Friday January 18th from 10 a.m. in Assumption of Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church (8 Lafayette Road), Ipswich; followed by burial with military honors at Cowles Memorial Cemetery 29 Town Farm Road in Ipswich

George Paganis achieved many great things during his life. He served in numerous organizations and earned many honors for his efforts. A prominent member of the Greek Orthodox Church in Ipswich, Massachusetts, George worked at both a local shoe factory and the Post Office before dedicating himself to religious work full time.
In his free time, he enjoyed traveling and spending time with his friends. Survived by his wife Phyllis, two children and a sister, a funeral service will be held Friday, January 18 at 10 a.m. at Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church in Ipswich followed by burial with military honors at Cowles Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held today (Thursday) from 6 to 8 p.m. at Morris Funeral Home located at 45 North Main Street in Ipswich.
Personal Life
George Paganis is a renowned automobile enthusiast. He owns several Paganis models, including the Zonda R which once held the Nurburgring lap record on slick tyres.
He loves to travel and spends time at Crane Beach in Ipswich, Massachusetts. Earlier in his career he worked at several local shoe factories before retiring from the Ipswich Post Office where he was recognized for a special achievement.
He was a devoted family man and loved his pets. Survived by his wife Phyllis; son George J. of Ipswich; daughter Kathy A. of Nashua, New Hampshire; grandchildren James Paganis (Chandler), Julia Conroy (Patton), Max Short, Sophia Short, Samuel Short and Steven Sowers (Lindsey); as well as great-grandchildren Thea Paganis, Jack Sowers and Ryan Sowers.
