Jahmir Daniel and Ramon Peguero Arrested in Connection With a Double Homicide
Jahmir Daniel, 18, arrived to face charges related to a fatal double shooting outside Atlas Gas station on July 10. Police allege he shot and killed 18-year-old Kazzmaire Dorsey before striking Ramon Peguero with a stray bullet. An angry crowd and extra police officers met Daniel as he arrived for his arraignment hearing.
Professional Career
Jahmir Daniel is a cornerback for the Boston College Eagles football team and started during 2018. During this season he recorded six tackles and an interception.
Jahmir Young may not be flashy or the sole star of either his high school or AAU team; yet he is perfectly content to accept this reality and excel as a point guard despite it. In fact, at last weekend’s Nike Peach Jam he led his team in scoring twice!
Personal Life
Two teenagers were arrested Wednesday in relation to a double homicide that occurred in Bridgeport on July 10. Police believe 18-year-old Jahmir Daniel rode by on his scooter and shot both victims, prompting police to arrest him on Wednesday for murder with special circumstances, two counts of murder, carrying without permit (carrying without a permit), criminal possession of firearm (criminal possess) and third degree larceny charges.
Authorities believe he attempted to evade capture by destroying evidence, which included hiding the scooter used during the shooting in a wooded area and then stashing it. Jack Vaz, 19, was also arrested and charged with second-degree hindering prosecution and tampering with evidence; both men are scheduled for court appearances Thursday.
