John Bahret – A Lifelong Shawnee County Citizen

He is renowned for his contributions to Shawnee county’s agricultural development and for fostering good roads, education, and civic betterment. As an outstanding citizen of this community, his name is well known to those in and around Shawnee.

Jeffrey Craig Bahret is a civil engineer and has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who as an outstanding professional. He holds a master of science in civil engineering from Rochester Institute Technology and belongs to both NSPE and ASCE organizations.

Early Life and Education

John Bahret was born in Poughkeepsie, New York to Jean D. Bahret and the late Alvin William Bahret. He earned a master’s degree in civil engineering from Rochester Institute Technology, is a member of both the National Society of Professional Engineers and American Society of Civil Engineers, and holds a registered profile engineer license within New York state. At present he works for Office of Children’s & Family Services of Spring Valley as a senior administrator.

Achievements and Honors

John Bahret managed to balance the demands of two daughters, two dogs and a cat while also keeping up with the latest tech innovations. A true connoisseur of all things wireless, John was undisputed king of department store aisles. His accolades included an impressive military career and an illustrious business career where his clients included some of the world’s biggest names in high tech.

John Bahret is a 67 year old who currently resides on Spackenkill Rd in Poughkeepsie, NY. He may have previously resided at E Cedar St in Poughkeepsie or 27th St in Babylon, NY.

John is a widowed man with two children. He is survived by his sons Nicholas G. and Alex G., as well as a daughter named Lena J., all of Poughkeepsie, New York; his mother Jean D. Bahret also of Poughkeepsie; brother Bruce Bahret (Margaret) of Sarasota, Florida; sisters Jean Lynn and Jane Mandia from Highland, New York; plus an unnamed niece. His father, John H. Bahret, Jr., passed away in June 1984. He was a loving uncle to Kathleen Tourinho of Taunton, MA; Michelle Bahret of Carver MA; Kevin (Christine) Bahret of Hopewell Junction; Stephen Bahret of Decatur GA; Derek Bahret of Alpharetta GA; Christina Zoccoli from Norwalk CT; Dana Peterson from Highland; Jennifer Zoccoli also from Highland. Additionally he was great-uncle to Cassandra and Christian Tourinho (Taunton MA); Cailin and Ryan Bahret of Hopewell Junction); EmmaRae and Ellijah Bahret from Alpharetta GA.
