John Gallia is a CFP(r) and financial planner who founded Gallia Wealth Management Group, LLC in 2015. He offers clients the security and resources of a large registered investment advisor while developing a personal relationship with them.

He is registered to provide investment advice in Missouri. Securities offered through Private Client Services, a registered broker-dealer.

Early Life and Education

john gallia was born on July 6, 1818 in Gallipolis township, Gallia county, Ohio. His parents were James B. and Fannie (Dungey) Stewart.

He attended the public school system in Gallia county and was a student at Marshall University. After graduation, he returned to his hometown and served as a substitute teacher for Gallia Academy High School. He is a fixture around the campus and its athletic events. WSAZ has proudly featured him as this week’s Hometown Hero. During his tenure at Gallia Academy, he taught history for 30 years and coached basketball and golf. Professional Career

John J Gallia, CFP(r), founded Gallia Wealth Management Group, LLC in 2015 as an independent financial planning practice. The name of the game is to provide personalized attention to his clients while offering solutions that go beyond the traditional retirement plan or stock portfolio. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing and upland bird hunting with his dog.

In the field of financial planning, John has been around for quite some time. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business management and a master’s in marketing from Lindenwood University, and is a Certified Financial Planner TM (CFP®). He also has a long list of awards and accolades to boast about. For his efforts in the aforementioned field, he is best known for his innovative use of technology in the design and implementation of his financial plans.

Achievements and Honors

A Gallia Academy teacher for 30 years, a golf coach and an athletic events attendant, John Glenn is known throughout the school as someone who has always been there when they needed him. His loyalty, dedication and commitment have made a difference in the lives of students for a very long time.

The Foundation for Appalachian Ohio, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting the region’s education system and communities, has honored many noteworthy individuals over the years. Among them are South Africa’s first female nuclear engineer, a military jet propulsion systems designer and one of the developers of the Materials Genome Initiative.

The Science Awards Program, presented by Holzer Health System, formally recognizes a student selected by the high school based on outstanding achievement in science and the desire to pursue higher education. It is the Foundation’s most significant program of its kind, said Cara Dingus Brook, President/CEO of the Foundation.

John Gallia is an independent financial planner who founded Gallia Wealth Management Group, LLC in 2015. He develops a personal relationship with his clients and offers solutions when it comes to retirement, investment, insurance, estate and tax planning.

He is a certified financial planner and received his Master’s degree from Lindenwood University. He has a strong passion for working with his clients to help them achieve their financial goals.

He was a very caring individual who enjoyed his family and friends. He loved working in his garage and tinkering, watching westerns, taking Gator rides, eating chocolate and candy, and was a wonderful husband and father. He will be missed by his family and friends. He was a great friend and mentor to all who were fortunate enough to know him.
