John Jureller is an accomplished financial executive who has built and managed high-performing finance teams. Currently, he serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Frontier Communications.

Most recently, he served as EVP and CFO for Frontier, where his efforts resulted in two significant transformative transactions that raised over $28 billion in equity and debt capital, strengthened the capabilities of the finance organization, enhanced accounting, tax, internal auditing, investor relations, FP&A functions – all under his guidance.

John Jureller has had a distinguished career in finance. Since 2013, he has served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Frontier Communications Corporation; prior to that he held senior finance roles at WestPoint International, AlixPartners LLP, and PepsiCo, Inc.

He is an experienced attorney who handles complex business, commercial and bankruptcy litigation. He specializes in insurance-related litigation as well as defense of defamation claims. On Thursday, Frontier Communications in Stamford announced that CEO Dan McCarthy had appointed Perley McBride to replace former CFO Jack Jureller, who left the company one year prior to join private equity firm Accordion Partners.

In November 2016, Jureller, then Frontier’s executive vice president and chief financial officer, left to join Accordion. As architect of their strategy to pay off $17 billion in debt, Jureller had overseen its successful implementation.
