John Spires – A Lifelong Family Man

John Spires was a devoted family man and a cherished member of his wife, Carlene’s, family. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He was a respected and hard-working professional with an impressive work history. He also fought a courageous battle with esophageal cancer. He is survived by his loving wife, children and grandchildren.

Early Life and Education

The first few years of a child’s life are an important time of brain development. The quality of the stimulation, support and nurture a child receives between birth and age eight has been shown to be one of the key factors in their overall health and learning success.

Early childhood education is considered an essential investment for the long-term wellbeing of children. It is also known to have significant impact on their future schooling and career outcomes.

UNESCO says that early childhood education should be inclusive, promote holistic development and gender equality, and focus on social cohesion and community. In addition, it should promote emotional well-being and social integration and help reduce the incidence of childhood illnesses.

Professional Career

As a professional athlete, john spires played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was a starter for four seasons and helped the team win the Super Bowl. He was also a great leader, making many sacrifices to ensure the team could achieve success.

In addition to football, john spires has been an active member of the community. He has been a volunteer at a local high school and was president of his church.

He also served as the Harrison County clerk for a number of years and currently runs Limelight Promotions, LLC, an event management company in downtown Lexington.

Spires is running for re-election as Harrison County clerk in November. He is facing a challenge from Clarksburg City Clerk Annette Wright. The two will face each other in the November 8 election.

John Spires has accomplished many things during his lifetime. He is an attorney providing legal services covering Bankruptcy: Consumer, Bankruptcy: Business and Business Litigation and Business / Corporate.

He is also an entrepreneur and philanthropist who founded Bestinvest in 1986 and sold it to 3i Group in 2007. He currently serves as Chair of EQ Investors, a wealth management company in London.

Personal Life

A dedicated farmer, educator and devoted husband, John Spires was a great example of what it means to be a man who is willing to help others. He was a loving and caring father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend to many.

A retired associate dean of education at East Central College, he also served as Lancaster High School assistant principal. He was a proud member of the Golden Gales wrestling team, which he helped to revive as a coach.

He has a net worth of at least $1 million as of 2011. He is married to Cathie Haretakis and has a son, Terpsi Corkos. He is also survived by his wife’s siblings, Hope Pasidakis (Angelo) and Peter Haretakis. He has eight grandchildren.
