John Talboo is a renowned actor and musician from Cleveland, Ohio who was born in 1921 and currently resides in Northfield, OH.
He is a member of the Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth organization, as well as being an accomplished writer and filmmaker. Additionally, he has extensive experience as both firefighter and paramedic.
Early Life and Education
John Talboo was born in 1921 in Ohio to Leonard Talboo and Rhoda Talboo.
He married Mary Jane Seidel (born Mcmullen) in 1939 in Ohio and they had two children: Arthur J. and Charles P. Additionally, four grandchildren remain: Mindy, Matthew, Amy and Arthur Talboo III.
He was also a member of Slippery Rock Presbyterian Church and Naomi Circle. Additionally, he served as an officer with the Ellwood City Fire Department until his passing in 1966. Burial will take place in Elmwood Cemetery in Ellwood City, Ohio today and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home (500 Sixth St., Ellwood City)
Achievements and Honors
John was an exemplary gentleman and scholar, a man of honor and character. He also demonstrated great philanthropy by serving as tireless fundraiser for the College.
He has made numerous contributions to the College, such as providing more than 400 late 19th and 20th century photographs for the class archives. Furthermore, he established a named scholarship for students from the upper Midwest and authored three extended biographies of his classmates that have helped maintain and reinforce the Class’s unity.
He is a member of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame and a Virginia Lifetime Service Inductee. As former wrestling coach at James Madison University and West Chester State College, he has coached 14 NCAA Division 1 qualifiers and 33 State Place winners throughout his career.
