George Lucas Receives National Arts Award

George Lucas was honored with the nation’s highest award in the arts on Sunday evening at a Kennedy Center gala, receiving one of five recipients including singer-songwriter Carole King, Rita Moreno and conductor Seiji Ozawa. Lucas hails from San Anselmo and was recognized for creating blockbuster movie franchises like ”Star Wars” and ‘Indiana Jones” which rank among the highest grossing of all time.

Junior Achievement of Central Indiana recently hosted Indy’s Best and Brightest program, honoring Katie as Chief Administration Officer at Lucas Oil Products – a world leader and distributor of automotive additives, lubricants, and appearance products.
