Melody was an extremely generous and kind individual who never said an unkind word to anyone. She always made everyone feel special by making sure each child, grandchild, great-grandchild, sibling, niece or nephew received something extra at Christmas or had their favorite foods ready when they came over for visit.
She enjoyed spending time with her family playing cards and staying sharp by challenging herself to Word Search, Sudoku and jigsaw puzzles (one of her brothers would always hide one piece so she couldn’t cheat). She was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church and left behind two loving daughters; Inez Nedrick and Sandra Jackson; five grandsons and one great-grandson; three sister-in-laws; one brother-in-law; six nieces and nephews plus many dear friends as heirs to caretakers after passing.
