Best HM Pokemon to Use in Pokemon Fire Red

There are many questions that come up in this game, one of which is the best HM Pokemon to use in Fire Red. Fire red is able to use all HM moves except Dig and can also traverse water well. It is also a great choice for finding Legendary Pokemon such as Zapdos.

HM is a very useful ability in the game. It allows you to return to cities and regions more quickly. This ability can only be obtained if you have a Pokemon of Flying type. You can only have one ability per Pokemon, so make sure they don’t have different moves.

Despite the fact that Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen have 7 HMs, you shouldn’t rush to collect them all at once. It’s best to collect them sequentially, since you need earlier HMs to obtain later ones. If you have trouble finding good HM Pokemon to collect, use a checkbox that filters out those Pokemon with HM Dive or Rock Smash.

Nidoking & Nidoqueen are the best HM Pokemon in Pokemon FireRed & LeafGreen. You can also evolve Nidoking or Nidoquen using a Moon Stone. Both HM Pokemon have access many of the HM moves. They can also learn Cut, Rock Smash, Strength, and Surf.

A few other great HM Pokemon include Linoon, a water-type mule in the Hoenn region, and Old Rod. Old Rod can be used to catch Goldeen which can learn Surf, Waterfall and Dive. These HM Pokemon are great for a team who wants to make use of their strengths.

Nidoran and Nidorina are both easy to level up, but you can also evolve them with a Moon Stone from Mt. Moon, making them extremely strong HM Pokemon. If you can’t catch Nidos, Slowpoke can be your best option. Slowpoke also learns Surf and Strength, and it can be caught using the Super Rod in Celadon City.

Venusaur is another good choice. It is fast and has good HP, but its Special Defense and Special Attack are what really make it stand out. The Venusaur evolved out of Bulbasaur and is great for eliminating multiple types of Pokemon in one battle. Dugtrio, which has a decent Attack stat, is another great choice for your team and can be found at Diglett’s Cave.
