Robie the Banker was created by Radio Shack during the 1980s. If you put a coin into his hand, he lifts it up and puts it into his mouth before dancing and licking his lips!

Robbie made her feature debut alongside Brad Pitt in Damien Chazelle’s Babylon and Greta Gerwig’s Barbie, two films which both celebrated and critiqued this iconic doll.

Early Life and Education

Robie Touchette was born and raised in DeRidder, Louisiana. A graduate of McNeese State University, he has worked in banking for over 35 years – joining Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church and serving on Kiwanis Club of DeRidder as an active member.

Robie Banks was raised by parents who appreciated giving back, so she knew early on she wanted to teach. After attending Bank Street College of Education and teaching at Bank Street Early Childhood Center.

Robie writes the book Goodbye Mousie to depict a boy grieving the loss of his pet mouse. Robie realizes this may be difficult for children to deal with and has received backlash for this controversial topic; some schools even banned her book. But she believes in children having access to truth, so she continues to write even as many schools ban the book from reading shelves.

Professional Career

Robie Bank began his legal career at Baker & McKenzie in London as an EU/antitrust lawyer, later expanding to specialization in data protection and telecoms law. His expertise lies primarily in these areas. Robie has advised numerous international businesses on compliance projects involving international transfers or breaches as well as working closely with leading telecommunications providers on new service launches or contract renegotiations projects.

He serves as a consultant for numerous private healthcare organizations in the UK and has an active research program centered around novel therapeutics and intraocular lens technology to improve visual outcomes after cataract surgery, winning several awards and accolades along the way. Furthermore, he has published extensively within his field as well as being invited as guest lecturers at many universities worldwide.

Achievement and Honors

Robey has attracted many of the nation’s prominent politicians, such as former chancellor George Osborne, into his boutique investment bank. Once known for being an extremely demanding and difficult boss, his colleagues now claim he’s changed dramatically over time.

Greta Gerwig’s highly anticipated Barbie film released in 2023 featured her as both its protagonist and its critics, sparking much discussion over its meaning in society today. Additionally, she co-starred alongside Brad Pitt and Chiwetel Ejiofor in Damien Chazelle’s Hollywood period drama Babylon and David O. Russell’s post-apocalyptic drama Z for Zachariah respectively.

She brings with her to FNBD experience in non-profit fiscal and program management, serving on our Generosity Ministry Team and Finance Committee as a member. Additionally, she holds ex officio trustee status of our church.

Personal Life

Robbie is actively engaged with multiple charitable organizations beyond running her own business. She serves as a trustee at Shore Country Day School in Beverly, Massachusetts and Choate Rosemary Hall and sits on the board of Suffolk Franklin Savings Bank.

Robie’s book Goodbye Mousie depicts a sad boy as he mourns for his deceased pet mouse and makes a shoebox sarcophagus for it in response. While some may find its content contentious, Robie is open about sharing children’s strong emotions while helping them cope with difficult situations.

Her work has often been challenged by censors. Singapore’s National Library for example banned Who’s in My Family? due to depictions of families with multiple parents and children from various gender backgrounds.

Net Worth

Robbie Bank has found success both acting and through her production company. Co-founding LuckyChap Entertainment in 2014 to produce movies and TV shows featuring women as protagonists, she earned significant earnings this year by reprising her Harley Quinn role in Birds of Prey as well as co-producing an upcoming Barbie film directed by Greta Gerwig.

Rosamund Pike’s partner Robie Uniacke is an established businessman and mathematician. While he had several off-and-on relationships in his past, Pike appears to be his perfect match.

Pike and Uniacke share a child together, yet prefer to keep their relationship under wraps. Both seem to maintain a healthy work-life balance while cherishing time spent with their daughter; musicians such as Amy Helm and Al Di Meola have expressed admiration for her musical talent.
