Waylon Arnold Jennings was born in Littlefield, West Texas where his parents ran a farm, creamery and gas station. From an early age he learned guitar from such country musicians as Hank Williams, Ernest Tubb and Bob Wills; all who inspired his musical endeavors.

Under this new arrangement, his first album released under this deal was 1973’s Honky Tonk Heroes; two years later, Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash joined together as fellow country outlaws to form The Highwaymen supergroup.

He takes great pleasure in flying around Texas and singing. Corey hopes one day to fly a long-duration space mission as a pilot; currently an avid baseball fan who follows Los Angeles Dodgers closely; married to Madisyn Seager whom he met at high school, they enjoy an idyllic relationship despite her school being located far away from where Corey currently plays in MLB stadiums.
