BET’s Sunday Best Winner – Joshua Rogers

In a season full of ups and downs, BET’s Sunday’s Best has finally crowned a winner. Y’Anna Crawley defeated Jessica Reedy in finals. She won with more than a million votes, and a national recording deal. She was also presented with a 2009 Lincoln MKS, which could be a valuable prize that will help her in her music career.

Joshua Rogers, a South Carolina-born artist, is now a household name among gospel music fans. His win on Sunday Best on BET made him a national star and his “young bucks” character won the hearts of millions. The young buck, originally from Greeleyville in South Carolina, released his first EP, “Well Done”, in 2012. It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts. His second EP, Unconditional was released in 2013. It topped the Gospel Charts.

Sunday Best was a platform that helped aspiring gospel singers get exposure in a highly competitive world. It aired eight seasons on BET.
