Taste Of The Holidays
Enjoy a Taste of the Holidays With Your Family
If you’re looking for a way to spend some time together with your family this holiday season, consider attending a Taste of the Holidays event. During this special celebration, many of Orange County’s top eateries will be serving up delicious dishes to share. You’ll get a chance to try new foods and learn about how to make your favorite meals. It’s also a great opportunity to check out some of the area’s finest caterers.
The fourth annual Taste of the Holidays will take place on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at the Orange County Convention and Expo Center. This year’s event will feature a slimmed-down version of the usual festival. While there will be fewer outdoor tasting kiosks, you’ll still find plenty of treats and dishes to try. However, if you’re looking to sample the more traditional, festive fare, you might want to visit the Food & Wine Festival at Epcot instead.
In New York City, you can find many of the city’s most popular attractions decked out with holiday lights and decorations. The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree is a perennial favorite, but you can see a wide variety of other lights and decorations throughout the city. Some of the best displays are located outside Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s. Another popular spot is Tiffany & Co. where you can view its beautifully decorated windows.
Another place to see festive lights is the Capital Holiday Lights walk, which runs from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. This event is free, but the Albany Police Athletic League will be collecting donations to benefit Make-A-Wish Northeast New York, Soldier On, and the American Red Cross. Besides seeing the incredible light display, you’ll get the chance to visit Santa and enjoy crafts and activities. Afterwards, the kids can take home a new holiday recipe!
Another thing to look forward to at the Taste of the Holidays is the head elf, who leads a cooking demonstration. He can help you make connections between the recipes you’ve learned at the event and your own experiences. A great activity for the whole family is to make sugar cookies. They don’t have to be professional looking, and they are a fun way to spend time together. Your children can even help you decorate the cookies before you eat them.
Throughout the holidays, you can also purchase Flavorings, which are a tasty way to add flavor to your favorite foods. You can even use these at home. Just make sure to rinse your mouth thoroughly before consuming any foods, and limit your exposure to tobacco. Also, swap your alcoholic beverages for sparkling water or ginger ale. Ultimately, the best part about attending a holiday celebration is spending time with family. So, whether you’re taking your kids or simply enjoying yourself, be sure to take your time. Hopefully, you’ll be able to make some new memories!
Whether you’re visiting the Orange County Convention and Expo Center, the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, or any other major event, there’s no reason not to experience a taste of the holiday season. Whether you are a foodie, a drinker, or someone who simply likes to eat, you’ll definitely want to participate in the Taste of the Holidays.
