Tom Cammarata was born in 1954 in New York. He attended Roy C Ketcham High School before receiving a bachelor’s degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 1979 and going on to earn both a master’s and doctorate in materials science and engineering from Harvard University.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 43 years, Barbara J. Cammarata; sons David and Stephen; daughter Alisa; grandchildren Anthony, Courtney, Joseph Lauryn Nicolas as well as many treasured nieces and nephews.
He is an ardent New York Giants supporter and enjoys skiing and golfing; his favorite movie is Shawshank Redemption from Workaholics; Cammarata and Egea have been charged with murder as well as concealing human corpses, evidence tampering, and five counts of child endangerment.

Thomas Cammarata is an experienced commercial real estate professional specializing in office and industrial properties. Currently employed at Phoenix Commercial Properties, Thomas is also a member of the Urban Land Institute as well as having graduated with his B.S. from NC State University.
Cammarata is an attorney at law licensed to practice in both New Jersey and New York federal courts, with extensive experience representing law enforcement members in departmental and criminal matters.
John plays travel baseball for the EvoShield Canes, one of the premier showcase teams in the country. This summer he represented Team USA at the IBAF 18U World Cup where he pitched four innings allowing three hits and scoring once while recording two defensive saves.
Personal Life
Tom is an avid sports fan who values spending quality time with his family. A life-long New York Giants supporter, Tom regularly attends their games whenever possible and plays golf at Brooklake Country Club in Florham Park and Ballenisles Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens.
He is an advocate for those less fortunate, often mentoring youth in Raleigh community groups. Additionally, he was approved as an attorney under Raleigh police’s legal plan and has extensive experience handling complex criminal matters.
Over 35 years of litigation experience in State Courts of New Jersey and Federal Courts in both New York and New Jersey; television/radio appearances. He also is an accomplished appellate practitioner for New Jersey Superior Court’s Appellate Division.
